As a member of our Hideaway Bay zone, you will be responsible for assisting with and supporting our feed trials and harvest team. This includes all net, pen, and mooring set-up, maintenance, equipment installation, and fish transfers. You will also be required to assist with feed trials, feeding fish, maintaining the feeding equipment, fish health checks, undertaking environmental monitoring, monitoring predator activity, and assisting in other areas of the zone as required. You will be involved in all other aspects of Zone management as needed.

ABOUT YOU

Successful candidates will have:

• A coxswain's license (desirable) and a valid driver’s license (essential)
• An eye for detail and the ability to work with tight deadlines
• The ability to work as part of a small team
• Experience in aquaculture, marine farming, or working on the water is desirable but not essential

A copy of your driver’s license must be submitted upon application.

It is an inherent requirement of this position that work be performed safely while upholding Huon’s values. The appointed person must be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Knowledge of work health and safety regulations is preferred.
