You’ll be the face of our technical standards on farms, building strong relationships with egg producers, supporting high standards of bird health and egg quality, and ensuring our supply chain lives up to the values we’re known for.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working alongside a team of farm auditors and specialists, making sure laying hen facilities meet the highest standards, from Lion Code to RSPCA Assured and our own customer quality standards

  • Planning and delivering regular audits, identifying risks and working with wider business to resolve any issues

  • Supporting producers with expert advice on flock health, welfare, biosecurity and sustainability

  • Maintaining clear, accurate records of audit activity and compliance levels

  • Using systems like Eggbase to forecast supply, manage flock data, and support operational planning

  • Onboarding new producers, helping them understand and meet the standards required

  • Working closely with operations, transport and technical teams to drive improvements across the supply chain

  • Representing the business at industry events and meetings, helping us stay ahead of any developments

About you

We’re looking for someone with a solid understanding of the UK poultry or egg production industry, with a clear passion for animal welfare and a drive to make a difference on farms with our producers. You will also have:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust with producers, explain technical issues simply, and influence change

  • Experience of auditing or compliance assessment in an agricultural setting

  • Ability to manage your own schedule and solve problems independently

  • Confidence using digital tools and systems (such as Eggbase)

  • A full UK driving licence (field-based travel is essential)

  • Previous experience in commercial egg production or poultry farming

  • Healthcare benefits including Aviva Digital GP
