We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Farm Accountantto manage financial records, budgeting, and financial analysisfor our agricultural operations. The ideal candidate will have astrong background in accounting, familiarity with farm financialmanagement, and the ability to contribute to the financialsuccess and sustainability of the farm.

Job responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for thefarm, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, andgeneral ledger entries.
• Record and reconcile financial transactions related to farmactivities.
• Collaborate with farm management to develop and monitorbudgets for various farm activities, including cropproduction, equipment maintenance, and operational expenses.
• Prepare financial forecasts and identify potential financialrisks or opportunities.
• Generate regular financial reports, including incomestatements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Provide analysis and interpretation of financial data tosupport decision-making.
• Process payroll for farm employees, ensuring accurate andtimely payment.
• Manage payroll tax reporting and compliance.
