Job summary

Workforce Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer with Fanuc experience in Birmingham. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and regular overtime within a precision engineering environment.

Core hours are 7.30am–4.00pm (Mon-Thu) and 7.30am–3.00pm (Fri), 39 hours weekly, with overtime paid at 1.5x and a profit-related bonus opportunity. Immediate starts are available for a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Programmer Turner with Fanuc experience is essential.
• Able to program, set and operate CNC lathes turning centres.
• Read engineering drawings and carry out first article inspection.

Responsibilities

• Program Fanuc turning centres in subcontract environment.
• Carry out CNC Turning and Programming / CNC Setting/Operating.
• Work on vertical and horizontal lathes.
• Carry out inspection checks using measuring equipment.
• Read engineering drawings and specifications.
