  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting independence and confidence in students.
  • Collaborating with SENCOs, therapists, and other staff to develop effective interventions and strategies to meet students’ needs.
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure students’ success.

  • Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, teaching methods, and behaviour management techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external professionals.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of students with additional needs.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with students, colleagues, and parents effectively.
What the School Offers:
  • A permanent, full-time role in a specialist SEN school that is committed to providing high-quality education and support for students with complex needs.
  • The opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, with access to training and professional development.
  • A well-resourced school, providing all the necessary tools and facilities to ensure students receive the best possible education.
  • A dedicated and passionate team of staff, who work together to provide outstanding care and support to students.
  • Competitive salary, in line with experience and qualifications.
