Consultant Psychiatrist – Neuropsychiatry

Location: Northampton

Full Time (part-time or full-time considered)

Salary: Total package up to £150,000 depending on experience

Suitable for an experienced Consultant or someone due to complete their CCT in the next 6 months.

Our Northampton services are set in over 150 acres of woodland across 5 divisions: Medium Secure, Low Secure, Specialist Rehabilitation, Learning Disability and Autism, Neuropsychiatry, and CAMHS. We offer unique national services including Deaf Forensic Service, Huntington’s Service, Secure Brain Injury Service, Older Adults Secure Services, Blended Women’s Service (a national pilot), and a specialist inpatient DBT service.

The Role

The Neuropsychiatry service in Northampton offers an opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to develop clinical and research skills in a forward-thinking, holistic environment.

We currently have a full-time position covering Tallis and Redwood wards. Part-time applicants who can cover one ward are also welcome.

Tallis:

A 12-bed inpatient unit for adult men with acquired/traumatic brain injury and complex behavioural, psychiatric, or emotional difficulties.

Redwood:

A 10-bed ward in our dementia hub, supporting patients with complex behaviours or restrictions under the MHA or criminal justice system.
