Role: Geography Teacher

As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of geography. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of physical and human geography, and environmental issues. Your role will include:

As a Geography Teacher, you should be planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Geography lessons to students of various age groups (KS3, KS4).

• Encouraging students to apply geographical analysis and critical thinking skills in various contexts.
• Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Geography.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Geography department.
• As a qualified Geography Teacher, you will be expected to attend departmental meetings.

Key Qualities We Are Looking For:

• A strong passion for Geography and a desire to support students' geographical understanding.
• A recognized teaching qualification in Geography, or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching Geography to secondary-aged students is highly desirable.
• A passion for developing young people academically and critically.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a stimulating and collaborative team.
