Overview

Family Time Worker, Bolton | Pay rate to £19.03 per hour | Part-Time (18.5hrs per week) | Contract role

Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Family Support Worker to work in a Child in Need/Child Protection Team in Bolton. This is an opportunity to join the safeguarding team in Bolton Council and deliver high-quality intervention with children and families to support positive outcomes. The role involves working alongside Safeguarding Social Workers.

Responsibilities

• Support with family time
• Support in completing home visits
• Direct work with children
• Work with families around behaviour management strategies, routines and boundaries
• Budgeting and referring families to available support services
• Work with families subject to Child in Need, Child Protection and those involved in court proceedings
• Be office-based for part of the week and travel to Bolton at short notice to meet service needs
