A regional council in Crewe is seeking dedicated professionals to join their Family Time Team in Children’s Social Care. The role involves providing high-quality contact for looked after children and their families, promoting their well-being and maintaining accurate records of observations. An exciting opportunity has become available to work within our Family Time Team within the Cared For Children Service. The position is for 2 FTE (37 hours) per week over a Monday to Friday working pattern.
About you
You will provide high quality child led contact to looked after children and young people with their families taking place within a contact centre or the wider community.
You will observe, and offer relevant support and guidance during contact to ensure that the immediate safety and needs of the child are met.
You will promote quality and stimulated contact and provide accurate and relevant written and verbal information to contribute to the ongoing care plan for looked after children and young people.
