MB4 (£43,693 - £49,764)
37 Hours, Full Time

Based at Brinnington Children’s Centre, 334 Brinnington Road, Stockport, SK5 8ER. This role requires on-site leadership, with flexibility for some hybrid working where appropriate.

Your Role

We are looking for a dynamic and committed leader to join our Children’s Social Care Service as a Family Time Team Leader. You will manage a team responsible for delivering evidence-based, targeted interventions to children in need, children subject to protection plans, and looked after children. This includes supervising contact services, parenting assessments, and coordinating services to promote permanence and stability in children’s lives. You will also oversee the safe running of the family centre and support compliance with legal, safeguarding, and health and safety standards.

About You

You’ll have significant experience in a social care setting, with a strong understanding of child protection and family support. A qualified social worker or equivalent, you will demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. You’ll be values-driven, resilient, and passionate about improving outcomes for children. Experience of staff supervision, performance management and multi-agency working is desirable, as is the ability to lead through change in a complex environment.
