Family Therapist / Systemic Psychotherapist

What you'll be working: This role is full-time, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. We support a positive work-life balance and are open to discussing flexible working arrangements to accommodate your needs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Undertake specific therapeutic work with patients and their families based on clinical needs, aligning with the treatment philosophy of the unit.
  • Maintain effective clinical records and casework notes following policy guidelines.
  • Provide evidence-based mental health and systemic psychotherapy services across the hospital.
  • Conduct systemic assessments, treatment, and consultations with client systems including children, young people, their families, carers, and professional networks.
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) in clinical and departmental meetings.
  • Participate in team meetings to enhance cooperation and performance.
  • Offer coaching, training, mentoring, and management to junior staff and students.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant codes of practice and regulations.
  • Prioritize safety and uphold human rights standards.
