Family Therapist / Systemic Psychotherapist
What you'll be working: This role is full-time, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. We support a positive work-life balance and are open to discussing flexible working arrangements to accommodate your needs.
What you'll be doing:
- Undertake therapeutic work with patients and their families based on clinical needs, aligning with the treatment philosophy of the unit.
- Maintain effective clinical records and case notes according to policy.
- Provide evidence-based mental health and systemic psychotherapy services across the hospital.
- Conduct systemic assessments, treatment, and consultations with client systems including children, young people, their families, carers, and professional networks.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and departmental meetings.
- Contribute to team cooperation and performance through active engagement in meetings.
- Offer coaching, training, mentoring, and management of junior staff and student placements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes of practice and regulations (e.g., MHA1983, Care Standards Act 2000, Children’s Act, Human Rights Act).
- Prioritize safety and protect human rights of individuals.
