A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a committed Family Therapist – CAMHS to work in an exceptional mental health hospital in Chelmsford, Essex. You will work for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

The hospital has an excellent reputation for providing high standards of treatment for mental health issues such as addictions, depression, anxiety, and stress.

Key duties include:

  • Providing therapeutic support and interventions to children, adolescents, and their families to address mental health challenges
  • Facilitating family therapy sessions to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary CAMHS team to develop and implement care plans
  • Assessing family dynamics and factors affecting the young person’s mental health
  • Offering guidance and support to families to promote coping strategies and resilience during inpatient treatment

  • Strong foundation in psychological theories and family-specific therapeutic techniques
