Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

A Family Time Worker is required to work 37 hours a week with flexible hours between 9 and 6, supporting children and families during supervised family time. Responsibilities include observing, monitoring, recording sessions, providing advice, and ensuring safety and quality of interactions.

Key duties include:

1. Assigning to a family for the duration of sessions, recording interactions, and providing support to ensure families enjoy quality time together.
2. Following safeguarding protocols if concerns arise, and liaising with senior staff and other professionals as needed.
3. Reporting safeguarding concerns immediately and assisting in decision-making for child safety.
4. Providing guidance to parents/carers during sessions.
5. Ensuring family rooms are clean and suitable when sessions are held in Family Time Centres.
6. Reviewing family information beforehand to understand needs and risks.
7. Contributing to service development through feedback and team participation.
8. Planning own schedule and working independently.
9. Transporting children to and from sessions when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

• Full driving license with business insurance.
• Level 3 Child Care qualification or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of direct family support experience and knowledge of statutory responsibilities.
• Full clear DBS check.

• References from the last 5 years of employment.
