We are seeking a Family Support Worker to join the UASC Looked After Children’s Team based in Reigate. This role offers hybrid working, meaning you are not required in the office five days a week. In support of our people and greener futures strategies, we are open to discussing what remote working could look like for you.
As a team member, you will collaborate with partners, agencies, and the voluntary sector to support children in care and their families. This challenging but rewarding role includes training to develop your confidence, competence, and professional growth, along with a full induction and monthly supervision.
As a Family Support Worker, you will support Social Workers by working intensively and in a planned manner with young people, their carers, and other agencies. Your focus will be on supporting children to reach their potential. The role involves direct work with children and their carers, and supporting Social Workers in their duties. Building partnerships and engaging meaningfully with children are key skills for this position.
