Responsibilities

• Support social workers in day-to-day tasks and lead on non-statutory tasks for children in the team.
• Build relationships with partners in the locality area, including schools and local services.
• Support team learning and development.
• Develop confidence, skills, and knowledge of parents and other carers, individually and in groups.
• Assist social workers to keep up to date with record keeping where appropriate.
• Carry out visits outside statutory visits to support progression of the child's plan and bespoke work with the family as agreed.
• Use effective coordination to ensure vulnerable children/families have needs met and escalate non-delivery by agencies when needed.
