Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with families and children in an educational or community setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-agency team.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Training or experience in delivering parenting programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted evidence-based support to families referred through triage.
  • Undertake home visits and outreach to help families engage with services.
  • Develop and review family support plans offering time-limited interventions.
  • Facilitate parent-focused group sessions promoting skills and confidence.
  • Work closely with professionals to ensure coordinated support.
  • Identify safeguarding concerns and act according to policies.
