Overview

Longfleet CE Primary School is a busy and thriving school, with impressive facilities and resources and a supportive Senior Leadership Team. The school is part of the Coastal Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust, a vibrant, collaborative Trust of twenty schools working together around shared goals, values and aspirations. As a Church of England school, the successful candidate would be expected to be a role-model for the school’s distinctively Christian ethos.

The school is seeking to appoint a wonderful Family Support Worker to join our dedicated and friendly staff team. As a Family Support Worker, you will play an essential role in supporting our children and their families across the school community. As part of the role, the successful candidate will offer early pastoral, attendance, behavioural, EaL and SEND interventions, preventative support, guidance and advice to improve outcomes for children, young people and families within a school context, through working in partnership with pupils, families and other agencies. You will need to be able to work individually and as part of the Inclusion and Safeguarding teams, to support the overall vision and values of the school. As part of the role you would be a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leader and be the main point of contact at the school for all matters relating to attendance.
