This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Enhance Team, formed in 2019 and recently undergone a service review. The review identified that young people and their families/carers require intensive support outside standard working hours, leading to an adaptation of the team to support this need.

This may involve daily sessions for young people, direct support for parents/carers, and group work. Enhance also supports young people from Angus who are looked after outside the local authority area.
You will support the case responsible Social Worker in the referring team, which has identified the need for intensive support. The young people may be receiving voluntary support, be looked after, supported via CARM processes, or be on the child protection register.
You may occasionally work across Scotland or the UK to support and assess young people, depending on their placement and living arrangements.
You will work 36.25 hours per week and be required to work on a rota system, covering scheduled evening support until 10 pm and weekends until 7 pm.
