Job Opportunity: Family Support Worker with Oldham Council

Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity for a Family Support Worker working with Oldham Council.

Position Details:

Location: Oldham

Hours: 37 hours per week

Responsibilities:

1. Completing short breaks assessments and reviews of current short breaks packages
2. Completing carers assessments and support plans
3. Conducting home visits to children and their families
4. Collaborating with other professionals including health and education in a multi-agency manner
5. Performing direct observations and visits to children in school

Requirements:

1. Experience working with families and children
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment
4. Experience in completing assessments and support plans
5. Ability to work independently and manage workload
