Salary: £25,992 per annum, pro rata £20,054.09

About The Role

As a Family Support Worker, you will work directly with children, young people, and their families to provide practical and emotional support. You'll help families build resilience, access services, and develop the skills they need to create a safe and nurturing home environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to families in their homes or community settings.
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans in collaboration with families and professionals.
  • Work closely with schools, social services, and other agencies to coordinate care.
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Promote safeguarding and the welfare of children at all times.

About You

  • Experience working with children and families in a support or care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.
  • A relevant qualification in social care, childcare, or a related field is desirable.
