Family Support Worker

Cheshire East Council is seeking to appoint Family Support Workers across our Children's Social Care teams. As a Family Support Worker, you will collaborate with social workers and multi-agency partners to support children, young people, and their families, helping them achieve positive outcomes, navigate care experiences, maintain family connections, and assist with assessments.

Applicants should have a solid understanding of the challenges faced by children and families, a proven record of successful partnership and direct work, and excellent communication skills. Training on the Signs of Safety operational model will be provided.
