Family Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for a Family Support Worker to join an established Children with Disabilities team in the Barnsley area.

Position Details:

1. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
2. Initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension
3. Hybrid working available - minimum 3 days in the office required

Primary Responsibilities:

Undertake short break assessments, conduct short break annual reviews, supervise family time, engage in life story work, and provide support to families as needed.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience working with children, young people, and families
• Managing risk and a strong knowledge of safeguarding and thresholds of intervention
• Valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle with business insurance (driving is essential)
