Family Support Volunteers

FAMILY SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS

Home-Start Lisburn/Colin is seeking volunteer parents to visit and support families facing difficulties such as loneliness, isolation, post-natal illness, disabilities, relationship problems, or multiple births.

Support families in the home or at group settings. For example, providing practical help, engaging in play activities and storytelling with children, offering emotional support and encouragement, and assisting families in accessing other services.

Full training will be provided, along with ongoing support.

Out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed, including mileage.
