Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a dedicated Family Support Practitioner to support expectant parents and families with children up to 19 (25 with SEND). Based at Sherwood Family Hub, Clipstone, you will help families access the right support at the right time, from conception through childhood.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Minimum two years’ experience with children and families.
• Knowledge of child development and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advice and guidance to expectant parents and families.
• Deliver and review family support services and parenting programmes.
• Coordinate a tailored package of services as lead professional.
• Maintain accurate records and safeguarding compliance.
• Work across family homes and community settings.
