Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a Family Worker to deliver targeted early intervention support to families using a whole family approach, including home visits and community work. You will lead assessments as the Lead Professional and collaborate with multi‑agency teams to tailor interventions for positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development and signs of abuse/neglect.
• Understanding of importance of school attendance and access to education.
• Ability to conduct assessments and create plans for support that promote positive outcomes.
• Experience in providing direct support to vulnerable families.
• Strong communication skills within a multi‑agency environment.
• Ability to maintain case records, reports and assessments.
• Willingness to travel locally and across the county.

Responsabilités

• Use a whole family approach to support families, working with them in their homes and in the community. Complete assessments as Lead Professional and work with multi‑agency teams.
• Organise, plan and deliver evidence‑based group work programmes for parents/carers on topics such as parenting, childhood development, domestic abuse and healthy relationships.
