Job summary

Qualifications

• Good basic education with literacy and numeracy competence.
• Excellent communication, listening and observation skills.
• Organisational and accurate record keeping abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with families and colleagues.
• Ability to facilitate positive parenting.
• Knowledge of child growth and development for school-age children.
• Safeguarding knowledge; training will be provided.
• Understanding of special educational needs.
• Knowledge of school legislation and attendance practices; training available.
