Are you passionate about building strong, stable families and making a real difference in children’s lives?
We’re looking for an exceptional, relationship‑focused Family Solutions Team Manager to lead our dynamic Family Solutions Team (FST)—a specialist service within Sandwell Children’s Trust’s Intervention Hub. FST delivers systemic, trauma‑informed, and strengths‑based interventions that help children and families stay together, thrive, and recover from adversity.
The Family Solutions Team supports families—mainly with children aged 5–17—where relationships have broken down or are under pressure. Our interventions are designed to:
We respond quickly to emerging family crises—often within 24 hours—and work directly with parents and carers in the home. FST can include using systemic approaches, genograms, and parenting continuums, offering practical and emotional support that genuinely transforms relationships.
You’ll manage a committed and highly skilled team.
Together, you will guide high‑quality, outcomes‑focused interventions, working collaboratively with Social Care teams and wider services across the Trust.
