FAMILY SOLICITOR – LOCUM, PART TIME, CIRCA 12 MONTH FTC, COMPETITIVE SALARY, 8 + YEARS’ PQE, BEDFORDSHIRE. Opportunity for a part-time locum Family Solicitor to provide approximately 12 months of maternity cover starting next year. JOB REF: 1010

Responsibilities

• The locum will handle a caseload of private family law matters, including children’s cases, TOLATA disputes, and financial remedy proceedings. They will conduct client consultations, offering clear and practical legal guidance, and will advance cases independently with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 8+ years PQE in family law, confident in independently handling both children and financial remedy matters, and experienced or familiar with TOLATA cases.
• Strong client care and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a developing office environment and contribute to its growth.
• Available to commence cover from 2026.
