Job summary

eNL Legal Recruitment is assisting a growing specialist family law firm in South Yorkshire to recruit a Family Solicitor. The role can be full-time or part-time and suits candidates from NQ+ with a strong private family law background. You will handle a varied caseload and contribute to the department's growth.

Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience; flexible start/finish times and potential homeworking days; firm culture emphasizes progression and staff development.

Qualifications

• Practical experience within family law.
• Strong client care and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively.
• Good drafting skills; experience with private children and financial remedy matters advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage or assist with a varied private family law caseload including divorce, financial remedy, private children matters and related disputes.
• Take instructions from clients, provide clear advice, draft correspondence and legal documents, and conduct negotiations.
• Attend client meetings, conferences and Court hearings where appropriate; support junior colleagues as needed.
