Qualifications

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in family law.
  • Experience in divorce, financial matters, private children issues, and cohabitation disputes.
  • Member of Resolution or similar family law accreditation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of family law matters including divorce and separation.
  • Represent clients in court and conduct advocacy as required.
  • Contribute to departmental growth through article writing and marketing.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop into the future Head of Department for a talented and compassionate Family Solicitor. You’ll be joining a well-established, progressive regional law firm known for its client-centric approach, strong community roots, and supportive internal culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Manage your own caseload of family law matters including divorce, separation, financial remedies, private children work, and cohabitation disputes
– Conduct advocacy and represent clients in court where required
– Contribute to departmental growth through article writing, PR, business development and marketing initiatives
– Collaborate with colleagues across departments

ABOUT YOU

– Qualified Solicitor 3PQE+ in family law
– Experience in either divorce, finances, private children matters, cohabitation disputes
– Experience conducting your own advocacy (desirable but not essential)
– Resolution membership or similar family law accreditation would be an advantage
– Personable, empathetic, and client-focused with excellent communication skills
– Keen to contribute to business development, marketing, and team growth
