Overview

Family Solicitor - Sittingbourne or Ashford

We are delighted to be supporting an award-winning law firm with the appointment of a Family Solicitor. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to join a highly regarded practice, with the option to be based at either their Sittingbourne or Ashford office.

The Role

The successful candidate will handle a wide-ranging caseload of family law matters, including:

  • Separation, divorce, and financial settlements
  • Children matters
  • Domestic abuse and injunction proceedings
  • TOLATA claims
  • Drafting agreements such as Cohabitation and Prenuptial Agreements

You will also be involved in financial management of your caseload, ensuring timely billing and effective cash flow control, as well as supporting colleagues when required.

About You
  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years\' PQE in family law (guideline only - all levels considered)
  • Demonstrable experience across a broad spectrum of family matters
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload, with or without support staff
  • Strong client care, organisational, and communication skills
  • Commercially aware with the ability to meet financial targets
  • Flexible and dependable, with a willingness to occasionally work additional hours when required
  • IT proficient and comfortable using case management systems
