An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Childcare Solicitor to join a well-established, multi-office law firm in its Rochdaleoffice. This highly regarded firm is recognised for its strength in family and childcare law. It offers a supportive, forward-thinking working environment with real scope for career progression.

This role would suit a newly qualified solicitor/junior solicitor with a passion for child protection and care proceedings, who is looking to build a long-term career in a reputable firm that invests in its people.

Applications from experienced Paralegals are also considered if you have a strong background in handling your own caseload and attending Court.

What the Role Involves:

• Handling Care Proceedings and related public law children matters
• Advising and representing clients in child protection cases, often involving legal aid
• Working closely with a team of experienced childcare solicitors
• Managing your own caseload under supervision while continuing to develop expertise in this specialist field
• Preparing documentation, attending hearings and supporting clients with sensitivity and professionalism
