Job summary

A leading legal firm in South Devon is seeking a Family Solicitor to join its dynamic team. This office-based role offers variety and long-term career progression, allowing for flexibility between locations in Paignton and Torquay. You will manage a diverse caseload and represent clients in family law matters, along with providing support to junior colleagues. Ideal candidates will possess strong advocacy skills and at least 5 years' PQE in family law.

Location: Paignton (with flexibility to work in Torquay)
Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE)
Working Arrangement: Office-Based

About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor to join a reputable South Devon firm. With the option to split time between Paignton and Torquay offices, this role offers variety and long-term progression within a supportive team.

The role involves:

• Managing a caseload of private family law matters including divorce, financial remedies, and children work

• Advising clients with care, clarity and discretion

• Representing clients in court and liaising with counsel where required

• Supporting junior staff and contributing to departmental growth

To be considered, you will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE in family law

• Have strong client care and advocacy skills

• Be proactive and capable of working with minimal supervision
