The successful Family Solicitor will be joining a busy department with a varied caseload covering care proceedings, child arrangement orders, divorce, financial disputes, and emergency injunctions. The Family Solicitor’s role

The Family Solicitor will manage their own caseload of both publicly and privately funded matters, including complex children law and domestic abuse cases. You’ll be expected to carry out your own advocacy where appropriate and work closely with vulnerable clients, offering practical and sensitive legal advice.

The team has an excellent reputation for high-quality legal representation and a commitment to legal aid. The role will involve regular court attendance, case preparation, and close collaboration with barristers and external agencies.

The Family Solicitor

• Qualified Solicitor with 1-3 years’ PQE in family law

• Experience handling legal aid matters, including CCMS applications

• Strong advocacy skills and confidence managing your own cases

• Knowledge of public law proceedings, child protection, and injunctions

• Law Society Family or Children Panel membership (or working towards it) preferred
