Job description

Family Solicitor, 4+ Years PQE, Berkshire, £Highly Competitive – We are looking for an experienced and passionate Family Solicitor with 4+ years PQE to join a dedicated family law team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse and rewarding caseload in a supportive and collaborative environment. JOB REF:9144.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Managing a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, private children disputes, and separation.
2. Advising clients on cohabitation agreements, pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
3. Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
4. Providing sensitive and strategic advice in high-net-worth financial cases.
5. Drafting legal documents, including consent orders, separation agreements, and financial settlements.
6. Working closely with colleagues across the firm to provide holistic support to clients.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. A minimum of 4 years PQE in family law with proven experience in divorce, financial settlements, and cohabitation issues.
2. Experience in drafting and negotiating pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
3. Strong advocacy skills and the ability to represent clients effectively in court.
4. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
5. Experience in working collaboratively in a team environment.
6. A commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
