Job summary

Bell Cornwall Recruitment is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join its Birmingham team, handling a private family law caseload and progressing matters from instruction through to conclusion in a supportive, established firm.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years PQE, strong drafting, negotiation and client care skills, and a proactive, organised approach to meet deadlines and maintain billing discipline.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years PQE in private family law.
• Experience independently managing own caseload.
• Strong knowledge of private family law procedures and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a private family law caseload from instruction to conclusion.
• Provide clear legal advice and representation to clients.
• Draft legal correspondence, statements and court documents.
• Progress cases, meet deadlines and manage billing.

An established law firm is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join its Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with private family law experience who is confident managing their own caseload and looking to progress their career within a supportive and established firm.

Family Solicitor Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of private family law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
• Providing clear, practical legal advice and representation to clients.
• Drafting legal correspondence, statements, applications and other court documentation.
• Managing case progression, deadlines and applications.
• Managing client relationships, case progression, deadlines and billing effectively.

The ideal candidate will have

• At least 2+ years PQE
• Experience independently managing their own caseload.
• Strong knowledge of private family law procedures and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication, drafting, negotiation and client care skills.
• A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
