Bell Cornwall Recruitment is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join its Birmingham team. This role focuses on private family law, managing your own caseload from instruction to conclusion, and providing clear, practical advice to clients.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years PQE, strong knowledge of private family law procedures, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and a proactive, organised approach with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years PQE.
• Experience independently managing own caseload.
• Strong knowledge of private family law procedures and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication, drafting, negotiation and client care skills.
• Proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of private family law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
• Providing clear, practical legal advice and representation to clients.
• Drafting legal correspondence, statements, applications and other court documentation.
• Managing case progression, deadlines and applications.
• Managing client relationships, case progression, deadlines and billing effectively.
