Leicester City Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead a small, established team of Social Workers within the Family Help Service. You will oversee day-to-day management, safeguarding decisions and support staff development.

This role offers hybrid working, progression opportunities, a generous leave entitlement and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme as part of a supportive leadership team.

Competenze

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Substantial post qualifying experience in statutory children's social care.
• Experience in managing, supervising and developing staff.

• Skilled in building strong multi agency partnerships.
• Committed to restorative and relationship based practice.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to lead a small, established team of Social Workers and Social Worker Assistants within our Family Help Service.

• A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
• An experienced practitioner with substantial post qualifying experience in statutory children's social care
• Experienced in managing, supervising and developing staff
• Confident in leading complex decision making and managing risk
• Skilled in building strong multi agency partnerships
• Committed to restorative and relationship based practice
