Job summary

Pact (the Prison Advice & Care Trust) invites applications for a 6 hours per week role supporting people with convictions to improve wellbeing and family relationships. You will deliver one-to-one support, run group sessions, and collaborate with professionals to evidence outcomes in a community setting.

The post is part-time and requires empathy, strong organisation, and the ability to advocate for families dealing with imprisonment. A thorough induction and supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of impact of custody on prisoners and families.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills; able to work in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to people with convictions to improve wellbeing and strengthen family relationships.
• Deliver group sessions and workshops to build skills such as communication, resilience, and parenting behaviours.
• Work with other professionals to meet service delivery targets and evidence outcomes.
