A local government organization in Stafford is looking for a Family Practitioner. You will support families and children, leading early assessments and collaborating with social workers. Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 and experience in family support. Training is provided for the restorative practice approach. We are seeking an enthusiastic Family Practitioner to join our team in Stafford on a Fixed Term Contract until February 2026. Our dedicated team works across South Staffs District, providing support and early interventions that positively impact children and families, empowering parents and carers to be confident in their roles.
We deliver a restorative practice model focused on keeping families together through a community-based approach. No prior experience with this method? No worries – we provide full training to bring you up to speed. Working with us involves collaboration across different teams, sharing best practices, knowledge, and experience to continually improve our services. Support is vital as we navigate the diverse challenges of a large county—together, we can meet all kinds of needs and demands.
Our Family Practitioners are key workers supporting children and families. Your responsibilities will include:
