Responsibilities

PRIMARY

  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings, meeting patient volume goals for both modalities.
  • Lead clinic staff, including X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, and Front Office Specialists, in delivering excellent patient care, providing guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
  • Perform responsibilities outlined in the SCRIBE job description.
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
  • Ask situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and guide patient care.
  • Engage with clinical leadership and escalate concerns to management to ensure strong patient care and adherence to company values.
  • Meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in-patient care.
  • Complete and forward patient charts accurately and promptly, maintaining credibility with staff.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians.
  • Analyze patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic data to develop diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care with diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on patient-centric, safe, cost-effective, and accurate services.
  • Ensure activities comply with departmental expectations and regulations, including HIPAA and other health information management standards.
  • Work efficiently in fast-paced, autonomous environments in both clinical and virtual settings.
  • Manage telehealth queues to ensure proper follow-up.
  • Order, perform, interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on treatment plans.
  • Follow clinical practice guidelines and attend mandatory meetings and training.
  • Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols and complete mandatory compliance training.

  • Propose ideas to improve patient experience and care.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and support new employee onboarding and training.
  • Maintain positive relations with clients and employees, fostering a respectful and friendly work environment.

  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with operational standards and confidentiality policies.
  • Consult with patients via virtual channels and demonstrate experience in Telehealth.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Responsible for on-call duties periodically throughout the year.

  • Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner.
  • Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 and less than 5 years of experience.
  • Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 and less than 10 years of experience.
  • Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience.
Experience and Education Requirements

Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)

Experience: At least 1-2 years in relevant practice areas such as Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, ER, Trauma, or Family Medicine is preferred.

Licensing: Active and verifiable license and DEA, with DEA required within 120 days if not initially obtained, and ability to treat all ages. DOT certification must be obtained within 120 days of employment and maintained.
