Witham Oaks Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Family Liaison Officer to join our team and support vulnerable children and families. The role includes safeguarding responsibilities and contributing to senior leadership team discussions.

The successful candidate will engage with parents, school staff, and external agencies, ensuring effective communication, documentation, and safeguarding compliance. This post is based at the academy and requires flexible engagement across school networks.

Competenze

• Listening and negotiating with adults and children to influence outcomes.
• Creative approach to supporting children and resolving problems independently.
• Experience working with outside agencies and partners.
• Liaison work with Primary School Children
• GCSE English grade A-C or equivalent
• GCSE Maths grade A-C or equivalent
• Prepared to undertake Level 3 safeguarding training and attend meetings as Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Maintain efficient and effective paperwork
• Strong understanding of safeguarding practices in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
• Attend meetings with professionals
• Flexibility to work across networks of schools linked to the Academy.
