Job summary

Authentic Education Group is seeking a dynamic teacher to support KS1-2 pupils with social, emotional, mental health difficulties and autism. You will work closely with families and external agencies to safeguard pupils and promote attendance, learning and well-being across the school.

The successful applicant will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills, a resilient and collaborative approach, and a drive to improve life chances for our pupils.

Qualifications

• Experience working with KS1-2 pupils with social, emotional, mental health difficulties and autism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly resilient and able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Engage with parents to support pupils’ education and attendance.
• Support safeguarding procedures, attendance and family pastoral work under supervision.
• Be willing to travel locally as required to support pupils and families.
