Ideally, the right candidate will:

  • Have extensive private family law/mediation experience.
  • Have commercial awareness and understanding of the legal market.
  • Have a friendly welcoming demeanour.
  • Have good attention to detail and accuracy to address all concerns with your team and clients.
  • Have excellent communication both in writing and verbally, so you can connect and communicate at all levels within the Firm and with our clients.
  • Have a strong sense of professional responsibility and accountability.
  • Have strong IT skills including Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and Word and the ability to work in a paperless environment.
  • Have a great sense of humour and enjoy working in family law.
  • Be well organised and skilled at prioritising tasks.
  • Be resilient when faced with setbacks and be solution-led.
  • Be able to deal with changes effectively.
  • Be able to uphold the firm’s reputation by providing a first-class service.
  • Be empathic and understanding.
  • Be efficient in working methodically and have good organisational skills to prioritise tasks.
  • Be resilient and committed, remaining composed, reassuring, and empowering under pressure.
  • Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and have the inspiration to achieve.
