Are you tired of the traditional Private Practice approach to Family Law? Are you someone who believes in resolving issues through open conversation rather than conflict? Do you approach difficult situations with empathy, clarity, and a level head?

We are working with a forward-thinking organisation, backed by a major household name, that is changing the way couples separate. Their mission is to support people through divorce and separation in a kinder, more constructive way, avoiding the emotional and financial strain of traditional legal routes. They are now looking for a personable and emotionally intelligent individual to guide couples through this process with care and professionalism.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 4 years PQE in family law who is looking to step away from billing targets and court battles and instead focus on helping people navigate separation with dignity and mutual respect. A background in mediation is not required—what matters most is a natural ability to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly and guide people towards practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide couples through separation using a structured, court-free process.
  • Support clients in reaching agreements on finances, parenting, and legal matters.
  • Keep communication respectful, balanced, and jargon-free.
  • Conduct consultations and manage your own client pipeline.
  • Complete legal documents accurately and liaise with service partners as needed.

About You

  • Naturally empathetic, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused.
  • Comfortable managing sensitive discussions and guiding couples neutrally.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and confident working remotely.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Private health insurance
  • Group life assurance
  • Employee assistance programme
  • Pension scheme (after three months of employment)
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Company laptop
  • A supportive, forward-thinking team culture focused on meaningful outcomes rather than timesheets or billable hours

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a values-driven organisation that is making a genuine difference in people’s lives. You will play a key role in helping couples navigate separation in a more respectful and constructive way, while working in a flexible, remote environment with a collaborative and supportive team.
