Job summary

Job description

This Family Lawyer position in London offers a salary of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, within a Legal 500 ranked firm. The full-time role follows a hybrid working pattern. Suitable for solicitors with one to two years' post-qualification experience, the successful candidate will manage a varied caseload covering complex family and childcare matters, including care proceedings, PLO cases, private children disputes, domestic abuse, Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders, divorce, financial remedies and cohabitation disputes.

Responsibilities

• Take on a varied and rewarding caseload spanning complex family and childcare matters, from care proceedings and PLO cases to private children disputes, domestic abuse, Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders, divorce, financial remedies, and cohabitation disputes.
• Undertake your own advocacy and represent clients throughout proceedings, delivering excellent client care while building lasting relationships, developing a strong client following and generating new business.

Requirements

• qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives with 3+ PQE and experience across a broad range of family law matters, ideally including care proceedings, private children disputes and domestic abuse work. A strong understanding of legal aid, experience handling publicly funded cases, and a willingness to work towards relevant panel accreditation are also required.
