Job description

A Senior Family Lawyer is sought by a long-established Essex Law firm that has grown substantially over recent years. Several high-profile hires, modern offices, and a strong culture have established this firm as one of the region’s leading names.

Described as very forward-thinking with a clear strategy, this impressive law firm aims to grow significantly in the next twelve months.

The Family team provides a broad spectrum of legal advice to clients and handles a range of matters including Divorce and separation, Ending a civil partnership, Unmarried couples, ending cohabitation, Resolving financial issues on divorce, civil partnership dissolution, and separation, Children issues including parenting arrangements and relocation abroad, Relationship agreements such as living together/cohabitation agreements, prenuptial agreements, declarations of trust/property ownership agreements, and separation agreements, Injunctions, and Collaborative law, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution.

Due to succession planning, they now wish to attract an additional team member to potentially lead the department in the near future.

Ideally, this candidate would have at least 5 years PQE, come from a regional or London background, and be seeking a firm offering clear prospects for advancement.
