Main Responsibilities:

• Report to the Department Director and provide expert legal guidance
• Manage and supervise solicitors, trainees, and caseworkers
• Handle a range of family and child law cases, including child abduction, protection, adoption, and advocacy
• Contribute to training and development within the department
• Maintain high standards of client care and support business development efforts

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Practising Certificate and Law Society registration
• Accredited Family Solicitor (preferred) with Abduction Panel accreditation (desirable)
• Proven supervisory experience and excellent communication skills
• Experience with publicly funded and privately funded family work
• Strong IT skills and advocacy experience (advantageous)

Salary Structure:

London:

• NQ: £42,500; 1 Year PQE: £44,000; 2 Years PQE: £45,500

Outside London:

• NQ: £40,000; 1 Year PQE: £42,000; 2 Years PQE: £43,500

We support career development for Law Society accreditation, covering costs for training and re-accreditation. Panel members may receive a salary increase and supervision bonuses.
