Job summary

Synergy Personnel Services is seeking a Family Law Solicitor in Leicestershire to manage a diverse caseload, provide expert advice, and support clients through divorce, custody, and financial matters.

You will draft documents, advise on court applications, and represent clients in court, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of family law and building strong client relationships. Hybrid working available, with two days at home each week.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in family law.
• Experience handling divorce, child custody, financial matters.
• Strong communication and advocacy abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse family law caseload including divorce, financial settlements, and separation.
• Advise clients on child custody, adoption, and care proceedings.
• Draft agreements and court applications; prepare and present cases in court and tribunals.
• Conduct negotiations and mediations to resolve disputes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law and case law; build strong client relationships.

About the Role:

As a Family Law Solicitor, you will be entrusted with managing a diverse caseload, providing expert legal advice and support on a range of family law matters.

• Handling cases related to divorce, separation and financial statements.
• Advising clients on child custody, adoption and care proceedings.
• Drafting legal documents, including agreement and court applications.
• Representing clients in court and tribunals.
• Conducting negotiations and mediations to resolve disputes.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of family law legislation and case law.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality legal services.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you will possess:

• A qualified solicitors with 3+ years PQE in family law.
• Proven experience in handling a broad spectrum of family law cases.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload.
